The La Piscine Museum in Roubaix is a museum of art and industry located in a refurbished former swimming pool, housing a diverse collection of artworks, textiles, and industrial objects.
The swimming-pool museum updated its scenography in 2018 dedicating more space to multimedia applications. Wezit has created all the on-site multimedia devices, including a system that allows the interpretation of a large mural from the early 20th century.
It can be compared with synchronized views of the present day, providing information on the various changes that have occurred in the city over the past century.
Several interpretation devices allow exploration of the displayed collections.
The contents of these digital labels are managed by Wezit.
Interactive devices have been placed in front of a representation of the city of Roubaix at the beginning of the 20th century.
Through virtual sliders, interactions overlay a current view of the city with the displayed mural.
