Client City of Dinan - France
Project benefits Application for the simulation of shooting exercises - Digital 3D simulation of medieval war equipment

Dinan Castle is a medieval fortress that provides insight into medieval defensive architecture. In 2018 and 2019, a new scenography was introduced, incorporating various multimedia tools.

The castle deployed a new exhibition scenography in 2018 and 2019, which gave an important part to individual experiences and multimedia tools.

We developed several applications with 3D and motion design elements. One of the applications gives visitors the possibility to test their shooting skills with different weapons on various marked structures.

The castle was 3D-modeled to showcase its different states over time.

Visitors can virtually practice using medieval war machines.

The ‘Papegault’ game allows visitors to practice shooting at a virtual target using a ‘Hacquebute’ (a small cannon, an ancestor of the rifle).
