The town of Auch, located in the south of France, offers visitors a programme available for free on iOS and Android. Tablets can also be borrowed from the Tourist Office.

This application facilitates the exploration of the most iconic places in the town of Auch. This tour is based around historical figures.

The game: Baptistou lost a goose. To find it, the visitor must look around the town of Auch to search for 10 key buildings.

These locations are indicated on the map in the application. By scanning the element of the building that is proposed with a tablet/phone, the user gains ‘points’: these are the main characters of the city.

They provide access to games and additional information.

Once the game is over, and the 8 characters collected, the user wins a gift that he or she can collect from the Grand Auch Cœur de Gascogne Tourist Office.

The app provides a detailed explanation as well as audio content for each location visited.

Positioning

When the visitor is near a point of interest, a notification is sent.

During the visit, it is not necessary to have a 3G or 4G connection. The use of GPS is useful for orientation. Only your location needs to be activated.

Image recognition

The programme is mainly based on image recognition technology that makes it possible to make the visitor active and connected to his or her immediate architectural environment.

Using artificial intelligence techniques, Wezit made the game system reliable using image recognition.
