Musée d’Art de Nantes

After six years of renovation work, the Nantes Museum of Art reopened its doors on 23 June 2017. The Wezit platform was used to create the digital devices at Mazedia, which used the Wezit platform to create its devices.

Mobile Application

Available on the app stores, this iOS and Android mobile app is also distributed on 100 Android devices that are available for rent at the museum. The application allows localisation of works and indoor geo-location. It also communicates with GColl (Videomuseum’s collection management tool) and has a multi-criteria search engine for all the works on display, allowing visitors to customise their visit.

The app is available in three languages: French, English and Spanish.

Work under a magnifying glass on the touch table

This multimedia mediation tool includes games, allowing visitors to explore works in depth. It is entirely manageable by the museum, who can change the content at its convenience in order to highlight different works in the museum collection.

Information and guidance terminals

Based on museum plans and a search engine to locate the works in the museum, these facilitate the museum’s exploration. Available in three languages (English, French, Spanish) they also communicate with the Nantes Métropole calendar to extend the experience beyond the museum walls.

Wezit studio, a nerve centre for digital mediation

To facilitate the work of the Musée d’Arts de Nantes in managing their content, Wezit is used in conjunction with the software for managing works (content interfacing each night) for all devices (terminals, apps).
