Synchronisation of the sound for a show on mobile with a video mapping show.

The video-mapping show was projected onto huge silos at the harbour in Les Sables d’Olonne, to tell the story of the town and to be seen from all over the town’s harbour.
The sound to accompany the showing was only provided for early evening sessions. For the rest of the showings, to avoid disturbing the locals, viewers could listen to the sound through their smartphone using a Progressive Web App, created thanks to Wezit technology.
The sound is perfectly synchronised, for however many viewers.
The “live real time” technology is associated to the Wezit studio platform and Wezit mobile solutions. Two types of technology are used: use of a captive network (the WiFi network of a place of interest for example), or a public network. That was the case for this project. Wezit uses components that allow the network to be analysed, and to adopt avoidance strategies when it is becoming saturated.
