Nancy botanical garden
Nancy - France
Augmented reality mobile application to discover the big greenhouses in the garden, bringing the plant-life and animal species together.

The Grand Nancy botanical garden is in the east of France and every year attracts tens of thousands of visitors, who come to wander through the gardens, and explore the greenhouses full of plant species from all over the world.
Wezit technology was used to create an innovative and original visit application, using Augmented Reality.
Visitors can expect a unique experience at the Botanical Garden, either by downloading the free application onto their smartphone/iPhone, available on Android and IOS, or by using one of the botanical garden’s own tablets, available from the welcome desk.
Explore Nancy Botanical Garden in augmented reality!
Augmented reality has been used here so visitors can learn about a complex ecosystem where plants and animals live side-by-side. With some plant-species, visitors can see the animals who usually either feed on them or live around them, through images.
Explanations are then available at the various points of interest in question.

Fun games are available with the Wezit games option:
20 interactive and educational games are available for young visitors in the tropical greenhouses and 19 in the gardens.
Children will leave with an explorer’s certificate in their name.
Explore the gardens with a series of mini video documentaries:
The team from the French TV show “Silence ça pousse”, from French channel 5 came to film a series of 28 films with the famous host Stéphane Marie, to present various elements around the garden.
